K Linux is a modified version of Slackware Linux 9.1 with the Zipslack kernel. It can be installed on a FAT 32 file system with any version of Windows (9x, NT, 2000, XP). It comes on one CD-ROM (563MB) and requires at least 2.5 GB of free space on the hard drive. The drive does not need to be partitioned. The system will be accessible from Windows, appearing to be another folder, or you can run Linux by booting from a floppy.
